# Org Design

{% hint style="info" %}
AKA Organisational Design
{% endhint %}

Organisational design (org design) is the deliberate process of aligning an organisation's structure, roles, processes, and culture with its strategic goals to maximise efficiency and performance.

It moves beyond just creating an organisational chart, focusing on how work is accomplished, decisions are made, and teams collaborate. Key elements include defining reporting lines, job roles, and workflows to support business strategy.
